The Junction Inn Pub

Living, working or just visiting Norbury and there is almost something for everyone to enjoy in this area of Staffordshire.
Probably one of the most well known spots is The Junction Inn, our famous country pub and restaurant, perfectly situated over looking the canal.
This truly is one of the prettiest settings for miles around with a large garden, separate children’s play area and when the weather is fine, an outside bar and BBQ.
Inside in the recently refurbished dining area you have a choice of  award winning Junction pies, homemade meals and cask ales.
Families from all over the country visit The Junction to savour the historic canalside atmosphere and country walks.

Norbury District and Gardening Guild

In an outdoor hobby mood Norbury & District Gardening Guild meet on the second Wednesday of the month at 7.30pn in the Village Hall, with regular seasonal talks for gardeners and non-gardeners to enjoy. For instance a meeting recently heralded Spring with a talk on “Wines from the Hedgerows” and there was a local garden visit to a neighbouring village Offley Brook.(More details from Sonia Shaw on 01785284409)

Women’s Institute

Every village needs a W.I and Norbury is blessed with a lively group of women of all ages.
The W.I. in the twenty first century is much more than Jam and Jerusalem but members are very much mindful of the heritage of the Womens Institute and still love the tea and home-made cakes that follow every meeting!
In addition to informative talks by first rate speakers there are numerous activities, demonstrations and workshops. A glance at their 2015/16 programme will tell you more.Telephone programme and events secretary, Helen Keyzor 01785284779.
